Anthony James Photography

“The landscapes I capture aren’t just places- they’re moments of stillness preserved in time and reflect our deep connection to nature.”.

With over a decade of experience in fine art landscape photography, and a countryside upbringing that shaped my creative roots, I focus on capturing light, texture, and emotion in their most natural form. Each print and card is designed to feel both timeless and meditative, offering space to breathe.

Now based in Northumberland, I’m drawn to the vast and intimate scenes across northern England and Scotland — coastlines, hillsides, valleys, and remote spaces. For me, photography isn’t about simply documenting a place, but sharing a still, artful moment- like the way the light sweeps across a mountainside, the unruly movements of the sea, or how natural textures vary across each landscape I set foot in.

Being out in nature with my camera — Sony Alpha gang — is my mental reset. It’s where I feel most at ease, most present. My work is an extension of that connection: a way to share the quiet grandeur of nature into everyday life through fine art giclée prints and luxury greeting cards.

I use only sustainably sourced, archival-quality materials, because every piece should stand the test of time — visually, physically, and emotionally. Whether you're collecting prints, gifting cards, or exploring custom commissions, my intention remains the same: to invite a sense of stillness, connection, and subtle wonder.
